A Transportation Operations Manager is tasked with leading and growing their assigned account(s) within the Northern California Transportation Programs while honoring Lux Bus America’s approach to business that starts with our commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service. This role will be supporting Charter and nationally to globally-recognized brand Commuter accounts, which is amazing on its own. This role includes all aspects pertaining to but not limited to account drivers and operations staff, training, performance, and working closely with the Director of Operations to maximize efficiencies, improve service levels, develop staff, and establish processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, assign, and direct account staff schedules, tasks, and workloads
  • Analyze the execution of service response, operational effectiveness, and business practices and collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop improvements
  • Interact with clients in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner and provide onsite support as needed
  • Participate in weekly Company Leadership meetings, client meetings, and client Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Respond to incidents, accidents, and injuries with remote and onsite support as needed
  • Investigate all client concerns, complaints, and service level agreement issues
  • Acknowledge client accolades and compliments, and reward drivers for exemplary service
  • Document activities on a variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and/or records
  • Perform duties and functions to help streamline the daily business operations of the company
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional tasks and assignments as needed

Education / Experience

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing staff of ten or more
  • Clean DMV K4 record
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience managing staff in multi-shift, multi-site environment
  • Experience managing corporate commuter accounts
